Hello,
Using DS 1.6 SP02 over unx(MS SQL), I've ran into a problem which I know how to solve with BW but not over UNX.
I have a query, shows 2 dimensions and measures.
my problem is with the "average" measure, the average (price/qty) from total, isn't similar to doing a simple average for each of the rows.
other than splitting the query into 2 data sources and getting ONLY totals in one of them, is there any other method for the average?
I've attached a picture which will simplify my request:
1.the RED cell presents the value that I'm getting from the datasource
2.the cell under the red one, presents the correct value, which should be an avg for the totals.
How do I get the correct value ? I need to insert it into textbox, which means it's a grand total.
Needless to say that the average is correct if the data source contains only one row - which means that without the query's detail (from the dimensions) - the formula from UNX will be correct.
