SAP Web IDE installation

Hello,

which ways are possible to deploy and use the SAP WEB IDE?

I know I can use the HCP for development and install a local version on my desktop with orion.

Is it also possible to install the WEB IDE on premise like on a SAP BW system?

Hi Michael,

As far as i know there were 2 options.

1. Web IDE (use Hana cloud connector to connect to remote backend ex: SAP BW)

2. Local IDE (need to maintain service destinations to connect to local backend system ex: SAP ECC)

I thought about deploying it to BW or HANA to use it not only on a local instance - too bad.
