Email channel configuration and functionality in Contact center


Dear Experts,

Hope you are doing well.!

This is the first time I am implementing CC email channel. Not sure about how to proceed further. Here we have CC, we finished with installation and initial configurations.

As per the installation guide I have created virtual SMTP server, email queue and email channel settings. Here some problems I am facing.

1. How is the functionality of CC email handling and Processing ? How inbound and outbound email functionality works in CC ?

2. While creating email queue there are inputs like email id / user name / password .. What exactly these values are. ? At this moment we have created sapccuser@<domain>.com email id on exchange server. We are passing this email id there. What would the values of user name and password. ?

3. How to connect virtual SMTP of CC to mail exchange server ?

Please guide.
