Hello,
I'm starting using Business Objects Cloud. When creating a new dimension with hierarchy (in the modeler), i can see in the overview right screen the tree-view hierarchy. However, while adding members to this hierarchy, as from a thousand records, i only see the selected member and its parent id, and not the full hierarchy anymore.
Furthermore, is there a way in this screen to filter the data ?
Thanks in advance for your answer,
Hi Mathieu,
What type of dimension are you using?
I followed the video on youtube and was working for me properly.
Everytime I added new member the whole hierarchy was shown but the one was higlighted I've just added.

Hi Mathieu,
Did you get any warning or error while importing more than 1000 records? I have tested with larger records without problems.
I wonder if some of the new records have conflicts. You can see if there are any problems in the blue area to the right: Data Quality. It should tell you if there are incorrect values. If you are the administrator, check in the menu System > Monitor > Traces to see if there were errors when importing.
To your other comment above about displaying hierarchies, when opening your model and selecting the Hierarchy you should see two columns: parent and child with the values imported. In the blue area you can see how these are connected. When you click on one of them, it will take you to that entry in the grid.

Julian
Hi Mathieu,
I've got a response from Dev Ops stating that there is a "paging strategy" for performance reasons.
This equals with a limit @ 1K row in the modeler for dimensions.
This means this is more a limitation than a defect in the product currently.
Dev has also confirmed that enhancing this functionality is already planned and will be available in the future.
Please see a knowledge base about the behavior linked here: KBA: 2356511
Cheers,
Mark
