DBM how to handle wrong time recording

Dear expert,

In DBM, for example, service order 1 task 1 was assigned to engineer A, after finished this task, engineer A record his time into order 2 by mistake. Can we delete this wrong time record? How?

Thank you.

Richard

Hi Richard,

This is normal scenario,  time sheets are corrected using transaction code CAT2  enter the employee, time sheet profile and date and enter the correct order number.

If time book confirmation is done for incorrect order - go to order change - select event button cancel the time book confirmation.

Ganesh

Hi Ganesh,

Thank you very much for your reply.

BTW, for example, both employee A and B started task 1,  A record final confirmation for task 1 before B end the work. Sometimes error occurs. Do you have any idea about why this issue happen?

Dear Richard,

Time stamps are stored in two places in DBM  /DBM/TM_EVENT and in CATSDB.

You can delete from CATSDB from CAT2 transaction only if status of your jobcard allows it and their is not CO posting of secondary cost element to jobcard primary cost element .

For /DBM/TM_EVENT you may not need to do anything as its only working table , however , check if you have used it in any your custom program
