Hello Akshat,

Like others said its not possible from Webi to remove the grid lines and that's the beauty of Webi that it keeps the layout intact when exporting it to Excel.

You can just try some workarounds in Excel(as I am not Excel expert) once its exported to remove the grid lines from all the cells in the spread sheet.

Thats great!! its always recommended to avoid heavy workaround for simple formatting stuffs by mere simple talk with client.

This is Excel functionality as Kuldeep said

one way to do is to create a table which has some large data at the bottom of your table and then change the text\border appearance of the table to white, so it will look as a blank table.

when you export you will get no grid after your table

I don't think you will be able to manage this inside BO. Its a Excel functionality which is out of scope from BO.

There is one way to remove the grid lines from the excel sheet only if you are scheduling the report to a file location. You can create a VBA script which will process the excel sheet to remove the grid lines from the excel.

You can schedule the script to run using Task Scheduler provided by Windows. This is kind of a workaround.

I found this link for a VBA script, hope it helps:
