IT 0000 is for primary action. With TC1, an IT recored can exist once for a period and has to exist always.

IT 302 can not be maintained directly.  When a pers action has been ticked in the field U302 in T528A table, and when this action is executed, it results automatically in creating/updating an Additional Pers action  IT 302 record, which is shown in IT 0 which has a validity period bridging the IT 302 record.

Hi Jagan,

Thanks for responding to my question.

I Know also can not maintain IT 0302.

But Whenever that time I mean same day two actions(Hiring+Transfer) of EE.

That time how to create to another action in IT 0000 ?

I want to in IT 000 I have a Two records.

       01.01.2016     - EE Transfer.

I mean tell me the Configuration Steps..

Thanks & regards,

Ramesh.

You can not have two IT 0 records or personnel actions for the same period or for the same start date.

You can have multiple secondary actions on one day.

As I said before, in T528A, select the check-box U302 for a secondary action.

Why would you transfer an empl on the same day as the hiring date?   It is standard practice to get the org assignment details (including, EG/ESG, PA/PSA,  OU & position) before hiring an employee.

Examples of multiple actions:

Hiring an employee: Consisting of non-value infotypes IT 1, 2, 6, 16, etc.

Secondary hiring action: Value (or amount) related IT's 7, 8, 14, etc.

IT 7 is usually with and in sync with IT 8 in many organizations.

Configuration table T529A decides that performed action should be updated in IT302, We always execute action to update the information against to each personnel number, then accordingly it gets updated in IT302 considering T529A Configuration.

We can see fields U0000, U0302 which decides whether to update or not it is a connection b/w IT0000, IT0302 perform action then decide whether it can be updated in IT0302 or not.

Hi Ramesh,

You cannot maintain IT0302 (additional actions) directly - you will get SAP's error for this. If you click on the error for details, you will see that 'it can only be maintained by the system, and not manually'.

You can partially maintain additional actions when you select IT0000 in Maintain mode and click on Overview. You can also create/copy actions via IT0000. Because of time constraint 1 (action must not have gaps or overlap), any extra actions will be stored as additional actions anyway, but the best practice is to use transaction PA40 for any personnel actions, like transferring an EE to another location.

If actions are not set up in your system yet, follow this IMG path: SPRO-Personnel Management-Personnel Administration-Customizing Procedures-Actions

Let me know if that helps

Kind regards,
