I need some help here.
In our environment we have 400+ universes and they are pointing to their respective database connections and working fine.
And all of a sudden Yesterday we see some universes(100+ universes) throwing an error "Your query cannot be created; an error has occurred with the data source. Contact your BI administrator" while creating a new webi document and if we are trying to edit the existing document's data provider then it is showing as "No business layer sent back from server".
Then we imported the universe in designer and found that the connection is blanked out.
We also observed that for some universes when you import them they are having correct connection but webi documents are working only when the universe is re-exported
Can someone help in understanding what went wrong.
And also let me know where this connection info is stored in server(apart from checking in CMC) is it stored in some files?
There were no changes to the universes and also to the connections, no promotions were happened from other environment.
We are currently in BI4.1 SP06 Patch02
