Wily Introscope Manager Monitoring

Dear Experts,

Do we use Wily Introscope application, only to monitor Java application based systems? Does it also applicable to ABAP systems? If not, then what are the other alternative application solutions available excluding the use of Solution Manager?

    Hi Sreenu

    There are plenty of third party solutions which can monitor SAP landscapes - some better than others but you can easily find these through Google.

    You do also have monitoring sets and details on ABAP systems in Wily Introscope. In fact, SAP has a monitoring set for Wily Introscope that can be used when SAP Solution Manager would be down for patching for example, it is described in the PDF document on below page:

    Hello Sreenivasa,

    Wily Introscope can monitor both ABAP & Java systems.

    There are N-Number of third party tools available in like Tivoli from IBM and Splunk tools is currently hot in market.
