While installing HAT , "Build the companion app" error

Hi ,

Hi all,

I am trying to install the Hybrid App Toolkit (v1.7.2)

However, I got a problem at the "3. Build Hybrid Companion App" section: I pass all the checks but the "3. Build the companion app", reporting this error message:

ERROR:

The build script exited unexpectedly!

    Hi Toney,

Did you add any custom plugins to the build?

    • Hi Toney,

I had an issue with a custom plugin but I also think I ran into a similar problem as you when my build failed the first time. I think I had to delete the "companionapp" directory (C:\HAT\WebIdeCompanion\companionapp if you install it at the root in Windows for instance) on my hard drive and then launch the setup/run command again so it would do a fresh install of all the files and everything. It might be worth a shot to try that.

      Ryan Crosby
