Hi all,

we have identified and also got adviced by SAP during a support session to NOT use those two java versions and they have recommended to use 1.8.0_77 instead in order to use Swing Client for SAP PI.

Our infrastructure team asked me if it's safe to upgrade to 1.8.0_101? Does anybody knows this or has already experience with it?

Regards

   Helmut

Hi Helmut,

There is a possible workaround (this worked for u101) by unchecking the temporary file settings on Java settings. I was able to start it that way.

Hi Helmut,

The workaround I described worked for me for 7.31 and 7.40 and 7.50 as well.

Hello Helmut,

As per the note

2073368 - Compatibility matrix: recommended Java version for
Integration Builder tools of SAP Proces...

Java 8 and update 31 or above should be compatiable with SAP PI 7.5.

If still not working you try the work around as per Mate suggestion.

Hi Helmut,

Currently i am running 7.5 on JAVA 1.8.0_91 with "Temporary files " disabled.

And earlier i used to run it on JAVA 1.8.0_77 with/without "Temporary files " .
