Sorting in MF50

Can you please advise me where I can find settings that determine sorting criteria of the Material numbers displayed in MF50.

I would like to have them sorted by any order and not only alphabetic way.

I have many Material Numbers and some of them are more important than others.

Thank you in advance for all your suggestions.

The first time you start the planning table in MF50, the output is always sorted by materials as default.

However, you can change the sorting going to the menu "view" and then "sort order".

You can also use exit EXIT_SAPLPTRM_001 to influence the sorting. See the documentation of enhancement PTRM0001 on transaction SMOD for details.

    • Hello,

All orders, sorted by material and work center (=line) in MF50

Please refer modification from SAP note

112750 - MF50: layout of capacity planning table as of 4.0

After the implementation or activation of the modification, the system no longer displays the orders in the second chart of the capacity planning table by material + work center but by material + planned order. This means, the system displays a separate line for each material and planned order number.

In order to receive the corresponding labeling (for example, 'planned order') as a line name, you must change the Customizing of the corresponding profiles. Self-defined overall profiles are taken into account in Transaction MF50 if they are entered via user parameters KP1 (no parallel processing of the graphic in Transaction MF50) or KP2 (parallel processing of both planning tables) in the user master record.

If no user parameters are defined, the graphic is called with standard profiles SAPREMG001 or SAPREMG002 (parallel processing) in Transaction MF50.

      Best Regards,
