Assignment of Reports

Dear Experts,
I am looking for some help regarding assignment of reports.
Consider I have created a Report using a inner/left outer join Data Source, what exactly can I do after that ? The save of personalization is done and I have arranged the characteristics and key figurines in the way I need.

I see this options of Assignment , but not sure where this assignment is going to happen . For example if I assign a report to Work Center Opportunity OR Contract will I be able to see them there ??

Access Context I perceive will align them with the available authorizations.

There is this next tab from where we may assign the Report to Business Roles ( This came up after activation from Scoping )

After this step I also see an Option for set access where business roles are being shown , what is the significance for this .

Sorry for the long text , I really need to have this working on Priority for me
