Does SAP allow to add a output message in deliver schedule line directly?

Hello Guys,

We can maintain the output message condition for schedule line by TCODE MN10, then if the deliver schedule line was generated after MRP run, there will be output message condition in the deliver schedule line.

But my question is ,just consider a test case, if we don't maintain the output condition with TCODE MN10, can we add a output message in deliver schedule line directly? Such as what we do when create or change a PO.

I tried to do it in the maintaining of deliver schedule line with TCODE ME38, but it seems that it's not allowed to add output message condition directly

Please refer to the screenshot as following

ME38, Maintain deliver schedule line

Go to the message, we can see that it's gray, it's not allowed to add message manually

Hi Broad,

From the screenshot, I understand that you're using document type "LPA".

The document type "LPA" is usually active with release documentation and in this case you've to create release first using transaction ME84. Then choose release documentation (F7) in ME38, further select button messages per release.

Please note that, for scheduling agreement with release documentation, maintaining release creation profile is required.

Thank you, Rash.

You are right, I use LPA schedule agreement.

I have created the release documentation for the deliver schedule line,

There is message condition in the message per release,

But in the deliver schedule line, the transmitted status is still yellow light, due to the message missing.

Which caused I can't do the goods receipt for the first deliver schedule line

Or you mean we just always transfer the release documentation to the supplier, it's not necessary to care the transmitted status in the screeshot above?

Hi Broad,

The traffic light yellow indicates that the scheduling agreement was already transmitted through transaction ME9E (Not due for transmission).
