how to view existing sub-report links?

1210 Views

Using Crystal Reports 2016. Have a report that I'm basically duplicating and realize that I haven't properly setup the data links between the main report and the sub-reports.

But I'm unsure how to view the datalinks on an existing report.

Much of the time I can right-click an object and find an 'edit' option which provides me with the info on how someone built it.

But the Subreport Links box doesn't seem to provide a "this is what's linked" view, but more of a "what would you like to link view?".

What is the best or proper way to inspect these links?

In the pic, the Original Report has a "LogListTrend" field linked to something, but I don't believe it is "EndTime" even though that is selected.

I think the top entry is always selected.

My New Report has the same 3 formula fields but there is no green check mark next to them. I believe that means they are not referenced anywhere.

And my Parameter fields don't have the same icon (DB with question mark) as the working Original Report.

Does that mean they aren't reference either?

Right now when I launch the new report there are many input boxes when there should only be 3.

Thanks for your direction!

Aaron
