Time validity for BP relationships

Hi Gurus

We are implementing MDG8 SP03 for BP in codeploy mode.

With FPM I made standard validity dates fields appear in the relationships UIBB.

But values are not stored in MDG and we always have the default values in ECC for the contact.

What are the required config steps in ECC/SPRO to have those validity dates working in MDG?

Hi Le Radis,

Time-dependent BP Relationships is supported from MDG 9.0.

That is crystal clear. We will wait for upgrade.

There they speak about BP relationships time-dependency in MDG 8 :  Time Dependency - SAP Master Data Governance - SAP Library

I cannot figure out how to switch on this in SPRO (if possible).

Hi Le Radis,

The help you mention is that MDG can handle Time Dependency (use data of current time slot). You can not maintain time dependencies. So change something for future use.

You should use the: Activation Switch for functions:

SPRO--> Cross Application comp. --> SAP Business Partner --> Activation Switch for Functions.
