BI Launch pad Data access/ Tool missing

In BI Launch pad Data access user is missing  TOOLS.

How can l get him access to that. see below

what is the Webi Modify preference in the BI Launch Pad.If it is HTML then it's by design.

Tools will be enabled in the Applet or rich client mode.

Thanks for responding , it was set to default HTML .I change it to Applet and it work

Hi Pantry,

Is the issue coming for a specific set of users? Is the Administrator user able to see the option?

If Yes, then you need to look at the rights assigned to the user (I think edit query or change source right  is there)
