Calculation with CHAR

Hi all,

I am aiming to do calculations at end routine

My question can one characteristic in abap als int treat and used in calculation(y=a*b+10) and deliver into another char object

source obj: CHAR

target obj: CHAR

Maybe with help of FM ?

I am truly appreciate it if you could shed a light on it.

you can convert your value to any type you need, do the calculation and reconvert to any type you need.
