We can not found any material document in MESG

Hi Gurus

We are clearing the history data. And we found there are many stocks in some no-value plants, but no records in MB51. However, we found something in Table MARD and MARDH as the picture attached, but no record in MSEG.

Look into SARA transaction for MM_MATBEL , click Admin button to check if your company is doing archiving for material documents as this could explain why you can't find them for such old stocks.

    • As you did not know about archiving it is probably better you contact the person who is in charge of archiving in your organization instead of doing some new settings yourself.

If your system is setup to allow display of archived documents then you can see them in MB51, just select the box at the bottom of the selection screen

    Hi Xiao,

Call transaction SARI --> Create Archive infostructure with archiving object MM_MATBEL --> Activate the archive retrieval configurator

By using the above function, display archived material document is possible.
