Status:
Earlier we installed the Power Designer trial version and later upgraded to the licensed version, followed by some regular patches that we installed. But now, we are proceeding with a direct installation and we want the installation to be smooth.
After switching from the trial version, I have to run the following patches on the licensed Power Designer version:
•PDES1655.4709.PL01(x64)
•PDES1655.4734.PL02(x64)
•PDES1654.4581.PL03(x64)
•PDES1655.4771.PL03(x64)
•PDES1655.4814.PL04(x64)
Question:
Now that we are trying to do a direct install instead of installing a trial version and later switching to licensed version, we have the Power Designer Application installation executable file "PowerDesigner165SP05x64" that we want to run. After we run the file successfully, do we need to "serially" run the above patches in order to get to the current Power Designer version that is 16.5 SP05 PL04(16.5.5.4) or can we run the latest patches?. Will the latest patches fix all the bugs that earlier patches has or fixed and does they provide all the features that other patches provides?.
Regards
Shali
The patch is accumulative so you can install the latest one ,which includes all previous fixes
