Hi every one,
i have load posted item from datasource 0FI_AP_4 into Cube in BW successfully. I make delta load per each hour for the datasource.
Because the datasource 0FI_AP_4 contains the posted items only, then i have to create a generic datasource from 2 tables: VBSEGD & VBSEGK to load parked Items.
i make full load for this generic datasource per each hour.
My question is:
how to load the posted items (0FI_AP_4) and parked item into a Cube?
and how can we avoid double records when parked items are conpleted in R3 and become posted Items?
Thankyou very much!
Hi Pha,
You don't need to load posted and parked items into the same cube.
If I understand this clearly at this time you have cube 1 with posted Items and cube 2 with parked items, is this correct? If so all you have to do is to create or use your Multiprovider on the top of both cubes. This will give you all records in the same query and there will be no duplicate records.
If you don't have a Multiprovider, it's time to create one and combine both type of records (cube 1 and cube 2).
Best Regards
Hope this helps.

That's ok. With Multiprovider you can have both columns or filters.
Do you have a Multiprovider already in place?
If not, you can follow this document to create your own. Instead of Sales Cubes you will use FI cubes.
Please check it, create your Multiprovider and come back with doubts or questions.

Since you have 2 different dataflows for each type or Item, you can create a FLAG in Transformation for each one.
I would think something like: FI Status = X, Y or Z. and you can assign a text on each value.
So in Posted Items you create a constant assignment in transformation = X. In parked items you create a constant = Y.
This infoobject Status can be used for filter or display.

Hi Pha,
You try to achieve this by doing the normal delta loads through 0FI_AP_4 and deleting the overlapping request of the generic data load after each data load. This way you will always have only one request for the generic data load in the cube at any given time.
Thanks!

Hi Pha,
There might be some indicator which can shows the different type of documents(parked/invoiced/etc).
please check with FI Team. you may get helpful info.
Thanks.
