Dear Experts,
I'd like to create a patch solution but i am not sure that i did it at patch solution or prd solution, so i got the message error
as you can see pic below
Top solution is on PRD and the below is on Test, i can't open the test solution. i don't know why.
maybe i created a patch solution wrong tenant, so how can i fix it?
Best Regards,
Thanarat
Hi
In one tenant there are two type of solution Orignal and Patch.
Patch is the copy of Original but with different Y* name.
Icon of both solution are Original ( patch icon has bandage ).
1. Where did you create patch solution, on current tenant or on Test tenant
2. If these two solution are deployed from other tenant, or might have generated a copy (one solution is copy of other).
Hover your mouse on solution you can see the status of solution (in Deployed, or In Deployment).
What error are you getting after clickin on OK on repository error dialog
Try login again.
Regards
Sunil

Hello Thanarat,
First, what you see in the Solution Explorer belongs all to the same tenant. There is no mix of PROD and DEV and TEST.
Second, you start with one solution and after assembly you create a first patch solution. It will have the same text but a different key Y...Y. Therefore you see these 2 lines.
Next, this take a while. If you want to open the patch solution before all things are done the system returns an error message. As we can not detect the real reason, this message is sometimes very confusing.
Just wait some time before trying it again.
You can use the ImplementationManager to read in the logs about the state.
