Entering a Date as Plan value - On refresh, Date changes and unable to Save the Date

Hello Experts,

On a new report I have added the Material, Customer PO Order Number (both User Defined Dimensions) in the row and VTYPE(Category) in the column.

Now the requirement is to add a Date against the Rows as PLAN value. Basically, this will be taken as an expected Date against which the Actual will be loaded for comparison and further PLANNING.

On running the report, the Date which has been entered changes to '00-01-1900' on refresh and when trying to save, it fails to save with the following error -

Hi Sachin,

The date would not be considered as a data to be saved in BPC. It is converted in general format by Excel while saving. The error message shown by you says you are not saving the data on a base level.

If you only want to save the data for planning reference, then save the date as a comment in BPC. As a Plan value.....no comments!.

I really do not understand what is the reason to ask when the error message is absolutely clear... And not related to any date..
