Can't enter decimal values in Qty Per package

Hi All ,

  Is there any way to add a decimal value in Qty Per Package  in Item master Purchasing UoM and Package Types . My base UoM is Kg

I have to give 1 Crtn = 7.5 Kg . How its possible ?

   I think it is an SAP issue , I have solved this issue by Item master update via DTW ITM4-ItemUoMPackage templates .

Hi Reena,

Do you have decímal places configured for quantities and/or amounts ? I am not entirely sure under which Qty Per Package falls. Administration > System Initialization > General Settings > Display > Decimal Places  (0..6) > Amounts / Quantities

Thanks for your reply !!

  All Quantity fields in SAP accepting the decimal places . I am talking about Item master Purchase or Sales UOM . If we assigned  any packaging type we can map it in UoM and Package type .I am attaching an image to understand the issue .

I understand what you mean. Could you please attach a screenshot of the settings I referred to in my previous reply ?

It may be that Qty per Package is not a "quantity" field, but a field of another type. If you have any data types set to not show or accept decimal places, it may just be that the field is of this type, and you could test this.

Otherwise this sounds like a bug. In which case you should report this to SAP support.

I am attaching the Display settings . You are right it seems like a bug. If the UoM Group is manual we can enter the decimal values in Qty Per Package . The problem with the PoPUp window .
