How to hardcode a value to an Object in IDT Universe in SAP BO

Hi All,

I am creating Universe on top of HANA view. I have following doubts regarding universe creation

1. How to Hardcode a value(say "Definition")  to an Object in business layer.
2. If I won't assign any value to an object and leave it blank, will it give error?

Please suggest!!

First create the additional object in the Data Foundation view.Right click &  insert new column.

Let say object name dummy & value 'Definition'

After that create new object in the business layer and in the view you can find the dummy.

If you will not assign any value to the object in the business slayer you will get the error message while running the report.
