PI SM59 connection

Hi expert,

I am now feeling confused about the use of the sm59 connections, could you please explain this?

Such as these:

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI

LCRSAPRFC

SAPSLDAPI

and the SLDAPICUST etc.

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,

Leo

    Hi Leo

    1. HTTP destination to abap system : ‘H’ - INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI

    2. RFC Destination of Type : G - Incase of Connecting to Single stack(JAVA)

    3. TCP/IP of type T - RFC Name – LCRSAPRFC , SAPSLDAPI -Connection between Business System and System Landscape Directory .If Sender comm channel is RFC and Java Idoc’s, then we will give the Program Id same as defined in the TCP/IP destination.

    4. Type -3 Abap connection - While sending IDOCs from r/3 to the PI system .

    Thanks

    Hi Leo,

    INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI

This is used for cache refresh

    http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2015/06/25/automatic-update-of-sxicache

    LCRSAPRFC

    SAPSLDAPI

    LCRSAPRFC - accessing exchange profile

    SAPSLDAPI - accessing SLD

Do You Still Need LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI For Proxy Communication?

SLDAPICUST is the tcode where you enter the SLD details.

    Mark

    Hi Leo,

LCRSAPRFC: Required for the connection to the System Landscape Directory (SLD). It is used to read the exchange profile.

SAPSLDAPI: Required for the connection to the SLD. It is used by the ABAP API.

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI: Is used for the cache update.

    Regards,
    Mate
