Some tables could not be replaced, as no match was found in the new data source.

I've created a new ODBC MySQL connection, to an exact copy of the existing datasource's database (with the exact same table names and field values). However, when I try to replace that old datasource with the new one (after clicking on the old datasource, clicking on the new datasource and then clicking update) I receive the following error message:

Some tables could not be replaced, as no match was found in the new data source.

It then says to specify the tables individually. So, I click on the table in the existing data source and then click on the corresponding table in the new datasource and click update. But, after I specify the new table it gives the following error message:

The alias requested 'table_name', contains a combination of characters which is not considered to be valid.

Please Help!! I don't want to have to recreate and relink all of my numerous reports referencing the new datasource - I would love to do it a more automated way.

Thank you!
