Business ByDesign to Business ByDesign Data Migration !!

Hi All,

I am looking for ByDesign Migration functionally wherein i can export master data and transactional data with all fields from one ByD system and can upload that data in another ByD System.

For example.

I want to export all sales order of old ByD system with all fields, attachment and notes and can upload in new ByD system.

Same for Master Data also.

I Checked in the system but i didn't find any place wherein i can export data with all fields including Attachment and Notes.

Can any one suggest me the right way to achieve this requirement ?

    Hello Manoj,

Some master data objects can be extracted through the work center "Mass Data Maintenance".

The data is extracted in a csv file which is also accepted by migration tool, so you can extract the file and directly import in your other ByD System.

However, I don't think this will help you since you want to extract all the data.

SAP Support offer a service called Data Extraction where they can extract all master data from a particular system in XML files (exactly in same format of migration templates). So will be very easy to upload into another system. However, I think the attachments cannot be extracted in anyway.

You can request this service by raising one incident and informing the data you want to extract.
