Retain the Communication channel properties during migration for 7.1 to 7.4 dual stack

Dear All,

We are in a process of migrating PI 7.1 to 7.4 for our production server. We have exported all the interfaces from SLD, ESR and ID. However, for ID as we know that PI doesn't write the communication properties (user id,pwd, host and port etc.). I am aware of API directory, but I am short of time to configure this and write code to retain the channel properties.

Could you please let me know if any other way which takes lesser time than API directory to achieve this.

I believe SAP should provide this option while exporting the directory objects from source system to ask if you want to retain communication channel properties, click Yes or NO😔

Kindly advise.
