Cloud Integration Enabling in SAP PO - License for HCI Tenant

Hi Experts,

With SAP PO 7.5 version now that we can enable HCI integrations in SAP PO using appropriate product profiles  - could you please advise if we need additional licensing apart from SAP PO license for the HCI tenant.

For any customer if they have SAP PO license can they request SAP for the HCI tenant.

The steps included in this are the following


On request PI customers (as of release SAP PI/PO 7.5) get provisioned with an HCI Web environment
You will need to customize the reference content in the Design Space of the Web environment according to your needs
and finally download the adjusted content to your file system
and in a last step deploy it to your SAP HANA Cloud Integration runtime that we brought to SAP Process Orchestration, on-premise environment.

There is no mention of an explicit additional license and hence looks like as long as you have a Customer PO License, you may request for the same via SMP. This option is currently not available to Partner Accounts ( Something I have already checked couple of months back with SAP ).

Thank you Bhavesh - this is exactly what I am looking for - (should have placed the question more clearly) i.e. whether we can request for SAP HCI tenant if we have Partner SAP PO accounts for training.

I guess then the Cloud Test & Demo license for HANA Cloud Integration (with additional charges) is the only way for the partners and then using it to design contents for deploying in SAP PO.

Unfortunately even if you have a HCI Partner Account, your HCI tenant will not have the PO Product Profile enabled which means you cannot export the HCI content for a PO Deployment. As per my last discussion with SAP via OSS, this was something that could be enabled for Partners in the future but as of last month this was not.

So, with a partner account it does not look like you can deploy HCI content to PO 7.5 ( Worth rechecking via OSS though ).

If am not wrong you need separate license for HCI Tenant.
