SAP Information Steward : for getting more than 500 rows in output for Profiling Results

Hello,

We have a requirement to compare two flat files in Information Steward.

We do Redundancy profiling for this on the two files.

In the profile results I get Venn Diagram that represents the number of records common in two files, and also the number of uncommon records.

When I click on these numbers I get the list of records.

However, here I get only limited number of records.

I have set the result size to 500 (which is the maximum limit).

Can we extend this limit. We wish to see all the records of the profiling result.

We are aware that this is possible with Rule results by mentioning the Connection for 'For data that failed rules' in the Rule task.

But I do not see any such option for Profiling tasks.

Is there any such option available for the Profiling Results.

500 is limit on all the screens in IS. However you can export the results to spreadsheet to get complete results set.

I think it is product issue. Export profile results option at top right hand corner supports only column profiling I guess. this needs to be taken to SAP's notice. Try creating OSS message.

Alternatively, I think you can click on 'Create rule' button while on profile results screen(Yellow/green/blue graph). It creates a rule depicting the profiling. Then download the results from rule. I haven't tried it but will leave it to you if you want to.
