Message No. LDAPACCESS003 SAP IDM 8.0-Object not Found Error

Hi All,

I am in the process of exporting the HCM data to VDS.

My LDAP configuration is all Green and my Query which is a copy of LDAPEXTRACT604 is also giving me output.VDS is also running on the correct port.

However, while running the program RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM, I am getting  "Error when updating LDAP Directory" information pop up box.

When I analyzed the error on "SPLDAP_DISPLAY_LOG_TABLES", it is giving me below three messages:

Object Not Found

LDAP_CREATE Failed

Local error Occured

Kindly help me understand where I missed the point.ID that I am using for executing the program also have S_LDAP with * Values.

Hello Akhil,

Please check below points

1. Are LDAPEXTRACT604, LDAP and HRLDAP_MAP attributea mapping same?
2. Is your LDAP Connector is Active?
3. Are you able to login to LDAP

If everything seems fine then I will suggest, take a back up of your old VDS Configuration and create a new VDS configuration for HCM and try again.

Thank you C kumar for your inputs.After posting this question, I tried to re-create VDS configuration and  well as this time I have imported the mappings through XML import which I have done manually last time and it worked for me.

This issue seems to be resolved now but I am just wondering how I can see the data in Identity center as my identity center is a Staging area and on IDM application we can only visualize the currently active productive Identity center.

Kindly Suggest.

Hello Akhil,

Glad to know that you have fixed the issue.

Data can be seen in VDS as well as in IDM database too by writing a simple query like below.

select A.mskey, B.mcvalue, C.mcvalue from IDPM_OPER.IDMV_VALLINK_BASIC A, IDPM_OPER.IDMV_VALLINK_BASIC B, IDPM_OPER.IDMV_VALLINK_BASIC C where A.mcAttrname='MX_ENTRYTYPE' and

A.mcvalue='MX_HCM_EMPLOYEE' and B.mcAttrname='MSKEYVALUE' and C.mcAttrname='P0000-PERNR' and A.mskey=B.MSKEY and B.mskey=C.mskey

It will give you Mskey, Mskeyvalue and Pernr of the each employee pushed in to HCM staging area database.

Thanks Jai for your reply.After doing re-mapping and re-configuration of the VDS, it worked well.
