I was reading a post from 2012 that stated the following:
"2) Following the guide, with tr. SU01 I created a Template user and called it KEY_USER (make sure the user type is actually Template) and assigned to it the Z roles you created in the step above;"
My question is this: How do you assign a user type of "Template"?
Hi Douglas
There is no user type called "template". There is one called "Reference" which you can then assign to users on their roles tab. The user will then inherit the authorizations from the reference user instead. The reference user is not given a password or used.
you can then set parameters in PRGN_CUST and SSM_CUST for further usages
PRGN_CUST
REF_USER_CHECK W (Default), E, S, I (Ignore) - Message Type When Assigning Reference Users with Other User Type (Note 513694 )
SSM_CUST
REFUS_EASY YES = The role assignments of the reference user are also used for the Easy Access Menu (Note 1947910). REFUS_NWBC YES = The role assignments of the reference user are also used for the user menu im NWBC (Note 1947910).
What are you trying to achieve?
