can we add activity type field in the initial screen of the work order

Hi Friends,

through SPRO i am able to add PMActType field at the header data of the work order but i wanted to add the same field in the initial screen of the specific work order type.

can we achieve it through standard config or else what needs to be done from the enhancement point of view please let me know as shown below

    This can be done in a few ways:

    • Personas - probably the easiest way
    • GUIXT
    • Create a custom front-end screen

      All 3 options above are available in ECC.


      Your developers can create a custom front-end screen with the required fields. They would then pass this data over to IW31 for normal processing.


      This solution would require a new transaction code.


      As I suggested, this can easily be done in Personas.

    In Other words create ZIW31, capture value in ZIW31, then pass on the value to IW31 using standard t-code. You need to use developer to meet this requirement.
