Hello,
Example:
SAP nGl is implemented with document splitting.
Company receives pre payment from customer.
No prctr can be derived - from where ?? for document splitting information on prctr (when prctr is one relevant splitting cirteria)
So we use default and/or dummy profit center.
Normally we analyse posting on default/dummy profit center in order to improve data quality, we shall not find half of all posting on dummy/default
all the best erwin

Hi Rajesh T,
Dummy profit center is used to don't cancel postings whenever a "real"
profit center is missing, instead of that dummy PRCTR is used so every
line item contains a PRCTR-entry.
