Codelist restriction on multivalue list

Hi pros,

Does codelist restriction work with multivalue list?

I have two multivalue lists: listA (values: A1, A2, A3) and listB(values: B1, B2, B3, B4, B5).

And the following correlation between them:

- if A1 is selected in listA then only B1 or B2 is available in listB,

- if A2 is selected in listA then only B1, B3 or B4 is available in listB,

- if A3 is selected in listA then only B5 is available in listB.

I created these multivalue lists and setting codelist restrictions in C4C. But here is the problem:

- If I select 1 value in listA, the codelist restriction is applyed to listB and only eligable values are availabale

- If I select 2 values in listA, no code list restiction is applied to listB and all values are available for selection

Example:

- User selects A1 and A2 in listA, all values from B1 to B5 are available in listB

Does that mean that codelist restriction do not work with multivallue lists?

Note:

At first we created all lists as dropdown lists, so there was no problem with code list restriction. But the customer insisted on multivalue lists, and now we can't understand how to make codelist restriction work correctly with multivalue selection lists.
