How to fetch equipment wbs data to the wbs field under order additional data tab

Hello Gurus,

I have a requirement that if in a equipment master WBS field is maintained then while creating order for the same equipment the additional tab WBS field under order should fetch the WBS data from the equipment automatically.

More over what is the difference between order location tab wbs and additional tab wbs?

I have attached the screenshots also.

    Hi Sameer,

WBS from the Equipment is copied on the Location Tab of the Work Order and not on the additional tab WBS field.

You have to go for enhancement to achieve the same

For copying it into the location tab, please maintain the below config for your order type.

Maintenance and Service Orders--->Functions and Settings for Order Types---> Define Transfer of Project or Investment Program

    Order Type Copy Assignment

    PM01 X

    Now for your second query:

WBS in location tab of PM Order .This WBS can be used for defaulting the settlement rule. This can also be set in the technical object master data and the default can then be derived from there.

WBS in additional data tab: Here the WBS element can be entered for planning and budgeting purpose purpose. You can assign the WBS element of the project here and then this order will become visible in the project planning . Also you can copy the dates from the Network to Order Basic Dates.

You can use exit IWO10010 to determine the WBS element.
