How to handle the material with different unit of measurement in every stage

Hai,

Take a example I was created 5 Material

MMR (material master record I created and maintained)

Finished material : Unit_fert Base unit / Work scheduling issuing unit 1 M

Semi finished material : Unit_halb Base unit / Work scheduling issuing unit 1 M balance 9 m

Semi finished material : Unit_halb1 Base unit / Work scheduling issuing unit 1kg / 10M balance 9 kg

Semi finished material : Unit_halb2 Base unit / Work scheduling issuing unit 1L / 10 KG

Raw material : Unit_roh Base unit / Work scheduling issuing unit 1 L

If i run MRP and start doing the production the below steps should be happen, but i my case it calculating all quanty as 1 one with the base unit only and in 101 movement also it considering the base unit only

Please help me how to map it in sap

Step - 1

I procured raw material (unit_roh) 1 L

Step - 2

I convert planned order to Production order it means that it should consume unit_roh (1 L ) and it should add 10 Kg in unit_halb2 in 101 movement

Step-3

I convert planned order to production order it means that it should consume unit_halb2 1 kg and it should add unit_halb1 10 M in the movement 101

Step -4

I convert planned order to production order it means that it should consume unit_halb1 1 M get consume and unit_halb 1 M should be add

    • Hi,

In addition to all the above,

In MM02, Click on Additional Data and in the next screen maintain UOM Conversion e.g., Basic UOM is L and Production UOM is Kg. So you have to maintain something like 1 L = 5 Kg.

Then during GR system will propose Production UOM.

Likewise Issuing UOM also. Try in System by maintaining Production/Issuing UOM and note the difference.

      Regards,

      Dinesh V.
