access table not recognized

We updated to the Chrystal 2013 this week and I'm updating the reports to the new server etc. In the process we are deleting one database and I've created another database to handle the one item we need. However, I'm getting a failed login error. I saved the sable using access 2013.

error is listed below.

Details: DAO Error Code )xd)f

Source: DAO Workspace

Description: Unrecognized database format

"\\pciserv\RedirectedFolders\sd\db\Intcod

Database.accdb'.

Does this no longer recognize access?

    Hi Steve,

You'd need a 32-bit ODBC connection that points to the .accdb database.

CR cannot access the newer office formats using the DAO method.

    Hi Steve,

Access is very well supported with all versions. It could be an issue with newly created database or the existing connection.

    Try this :

Open any report, go in Database Menu-- Set Datasource Location --on top window you will see existing connection, now in bottom window expend new connection and try to connect to new database then click on Update button.

If you get an error while connecting new database then it could be an issue with newly created database pl. check it.

    Thanks,

    Sastry
