Hi experts,
I´m facing a new problem regarding a Design Studio Report on BI Plattform 4.2 SP2.
I built a new Report based on an OLAP Connection to BW. The Data source is a BW Query.
I enter the prompts and I designed a very simple Report with Design Studio 1.6 SP2.
When I try to run the Report locally everything works fine. As soon as I try to run the Report on the BIP Server I get the following error message(s):
The APS Server is up and running with the Analysis Service. I can execute the Report via the BI Launchpad also, but i get the same error message here.
I found another Topic here in SCN where the solution was to uncheck the box for the OLAP Connection regarding the language. I tried this with no success.
I have also checked the credentials for the olap Connections. My user is Administrator and is allowed to use the Connection. Otherwise it shouldn´t be possible to select the olap Connection within design Studio and use the query as data source.
There is a log id mentioned but the problem is I don´t have Access to the Server.
Can anybody help me with this?
Thx and br,
Mario
Hello,
SAP Support replied: This issue is already addressed and should be fixed with Design Studio 1.6 SP4 (relase in CW 50!).

Hope this helps. For now we are thinking about downgrading to an older SP Level.
Hi,
I want to mention that the same olap Connection is fine for Analysis for Office. I can insert the same BW Query, save the Workbook to the BI Server and execute it from the BI Launchpad.
