When you use Material Ledger, how operation and performance changes?

In S/4 HANA, SAP recommends us to use material ledger.

When you use material ledger, how operation on site and performance changes compared to the case you don't use material ledger?

2) SAP recommends us not to use moving price but to use material ledger on S/4 HANA.

If you use movingprice, what kind of problem would happen?

Hello, thank you for your quick reply.

1) I understood that when it comes to using S/4(not S/4 Finance), ML is mandatory so you have to use ML, right?

2) Yes, it's about moving aver. price, I understood statistical mobing aver. price from your comments.

Is it possible to use just moving aver. price(not statistical) even though you use ML?

A customer is supposed to use moving aver. price for raw material and use standard price for semi-products and finished product.

Hi,

First of all it's requirement to use ML(in S/4 and not in S/4 FINANCE) and not recommendation.

Second I'm not sure if it's about moving aver. price, because I know about increasing outpoot if you deactivate STATISTICAL moving aver. price for standard price. It also removes locks from materials.
