Did you mean:

any way to upload 1000 components to PP order?

Former Member

I have seen in the forum this question has been asked, with different answers: none is applicable.

I tried to create an LSMW but recording is not possible and could not find an object >I could use.

I need to upload almost 1000 components to a production order, all with backflush activated.

has anyone done such a thing successfully?

I do not manage to find a way: can anyone help?

thank you all

Alisa

So,

if is not possible external software

not possible ABAP solution

LSMW doesn´t work

Select the materials + CTRL C (inform Qty, Unit, Plant and Storage Location)

CO11

Goos Moviments

CTRL V

i can do that directly into CO02 I guess, also because CO11 has no Backflush possibility.

I was looking for a standard solution that maybe I was not aware of: after all SAP is quite vast, sometimes peple have standard solutions I was not aware of.

but thank you anyway

Hello Alisa,

At a time you can add around 16 components manually via CO02.

You can try creating an upload program via BDC recording of CO02 transaction, method with help of your ABAP team.

The upload program can take an excel file for components as input and the production order number and add components inside it.

Hope this helps

HI Alisa,

Not sure if it can be achieved without ABAP help.

The standard process is that you maintain BOM master data properly, and then you can refresh the production order via Functions -> Read PP Master Data. You do not need ABAP help, if you follow standard process.

Anyway if your query is solved, or helped with please mark the answer as helpful/correct and close the thread as per SCN best practices.

hello Ameya

as this is actually a disassembly order, the material quantity is negative and therefore a BOM does not exist.

since I have just created the query less than an hour ago, I will wait another bit to see if someone has a better idea before closing

Hi Alisa,

Its correct explains by Ameya and maybe I can propose some external upload process:

  • RFC with some macro VBA excel and I think "BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN".
  • Or Autohotkey program (macro-creation and automation software that allows users to automate repetitive tasks) I used in 2 opportunities for particular case without consultant user.

Best Regards
