Future cost for next a few periods

our client has request to input the future cost in SAP system (ECC 6). The purpose is that we have input the sales rolling forecast with future sales price, clients want system could run a future cost to calculate the product future margin.

As I understand, SAP is only release cost for currently period, and create a future price.

Is there any solution for generate the future cost in system?

Hi Linghan,

To achieve the user requirement you can do one thing, create a separate costing variant and in the valuation variant you can give plan price for the period for materials and for activities create a separate version with plan price per the period and and you can save the cost estimate, so that in KEKO and KEPH tables the cost estimate number with generate with status "KA   Costed Without Errors", So now you can develop a Z report or Query report by using the tables KEKO and KEPH based on the cost estimate status KA.

Run costing for different costing version and release the price in planned price or tax price fields.
