Error to open SUM

Hi. I want to open SUM. I unpacked SUM SP17 and execute register in Host Agent with root. When I start UI in browser with http://xx0-ci:1128/lmsl/sumabap/XX0/doc/sluigui/ and enter xxxadm/password then error "The user xx0adm is not authorized to process the operation ExecutOperation". With SUM SP14 work fine bue SP16 or 17 fail.

Any help?

Thanks!

    Hi Juan,

For solve this issue you need to register the SIDadm user in the file "host_profile", located in usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/. For do this, edit or add the next line:

    Example:

    • service/admin_users = daaadm <sid>adm

    Best regards from Chile 😊,

    Hi Juan,

Please check and try the followings:

    1. Unpack SUM is done by OS user <sid>adm (Run as administrator in Windows command line).

    2. Update Host Agent as required

    3. Register SUM in SAP Host Agent by OS user <sid>adm (Run as administrator in Windows command line).

    4. Input http://xx0-ci:1128/lmsl/sumabap/XX0/doc/sluigui in web browser without /

SUM should be registered in host agent through root user always as per the SUM 1.0 SP 17 user guide.

      You need to :

-Rename the update directory used for the update that you are running or the one which was used for previous run. (Using <sid>adm user)

-Unpack SUM again (Using <sid>adm user)

-Start as earlier (using root user). Make sure you 'cd' to the new update directory before running the script ./STARTUP confighostagent <SID>

      Regards,

      Anjali.
