sales area dependent relationships

Hello together,

I read that release 1602 introduced "sales area dependent relationships" which essentially caters to assigning different relationships to different sales areas. You can assign different contacts to different sales areas and mark them main in respective sales areas.

Can somebody tell me, where I can do this?

Hi Kathrin,

You can achieve this in Business Config. --> General Business Partner --> Relationships --> Maintain Relationships --> Here you can select Sales area dependency checkbox.

Hi Kathrin,

When creating a relationship between two accounts, you can add your own defined sales area. During partner determination on your transactions, sales area data is taken into account. When you are running an integrated scenario with SAP ECC, this data is also replicated.

You need to activate sales area dependency for each relationship type in your system configuration as i mentioned above.

Hi,

in the relationship type BC finetuning you can switch on per relationship type the sales area dependency. Afterwards you will be able to maintain in the account ti (relationship tab) the corresponding relationship type sales area dependend or download the sales area dependent relationships from ERP (aka partner functions).

sorry for my late response. I find in the finetuning the relationship type BC, but not the option to switch on the sales area dependency.

Can you send me a screenshot please, where I can find this setting?
