XS Advanced Applications - How to deploy java EE code?

Hey Experts,

we got a running S4H Hana Platform with XS Advanced Applications service on it.

Now we tried to start developing but we don't know how to deploy the java code.

So the question is how to deploy our java code on the XSA service because in this development guide:

http://help.sap.com/hana/SAP_HANA_Developer_Guide_for_SAP_HANA_XS_Advanced_Model_en.pdf

they write about the possibility of creating Java based XSA Applications, yet we don't see any options to deploy.

How can we access the Apache TomEE server?

Regards,

Dominik

    Hello Dominik,

a "high level" description of setting up an XS Advanced Java Application is given in the XS Advanced Dev Guide (The SAP HANA XS Advanced Java Run Time - Introduction to Application Development and Deployment (XS Advanced Model) - SA…). I think you have already read this.

To deploy the application you have to use the XS CLI. With xs push you can deploy the application (of course you need to connect before to XS Advanced (xs api, xs login).

    Regards,

    Florian
