IE9 prompts to open/save tx.sap file when approving clock-in/clock-out

Dear experts,

One of the user gets the pop-up to open/save tx.sap file while accessing 'Approve Clock In/Out correction' from IE9 browser. This application is configured as ITS application so ideally it should call an ABAP screen, but nothing happens after opening/saving the file. I have referred the SAP Note 604324, but it didn't helped. Issue remains the same when the user tries with different systems, however other users could access the same.

All the roles/authorizations are also proper and matching with other users who are able to access.

Experts, please help in knowing the root cause of this issue.

Thanks and Regards,

Hitesh Pathak

    Hi Pathak,

If the attached SAP GUI Security window is the popup that your user is seeing, try following setting in the SAP Logon installed in your user's end pc.

    1. Open options of SAP Logon

    2. Choose Security -> Security Settings, then change the value of "Status" to "Disabled".

    3. Exit SAP Logon and open SAP Logon again, then launch "Approve Clock In/Out correction" again.

    Hope this could help you!

    Amy

    Hi Pathak,

The IE9 browser is not supported more by SAP. Is the issue reproduced in IE11?

    Regards,

    Mahmoud
