Hi,
This is a new functionality/switch in SRM713 release: SRM_703_SOCO_FORWARD_TEXT
If it is activated, you will see this item text type in SC.
This switch allows an operational purchaser to mention a reason for forwarding a shopping cart item to another purchasing group in the Sourcing application.
It is revertible, and if you don't want it, you may deactivate this switch.

Activate/Deactivate Reason for Forwarding a Shopping Cart
The related two notes to fix some bugs in this switch are as below:
2318267 - Shopping cart item text 'Forward Text Item' is shown irrespective of the 'forward text' switch status.
2318347 - Side effect of note '2318267'

Dear Li,
Thanks for the response and it is helpful.
However, I have another question to ask, as of now in SRM portal, we don't have a concept like transfer shopping carts from person-A(Creator of SC) to another person-B(Creator of SC), instead referring to person-A's Shopping cart person-B has to create a new cart(As long as the shopping cart is still in status, "awaited approval", of-course we can change only Goods Recipient under item data tab-but this does not mean that shopping cart is transferred).
So in line with this concept and referring to your reply, how come Forward Text Item, "allows an operational purchaser(Creator of Shopping cart) to mention a reason for forwarding a shopping cart item to another purchasing group in the Sourcing application." Iam not clear, Could you please elaborate on this a bit? Thanks.

Muni.
Hi,
Forward to different purchasing group in sourcing cockpit is only available for fiori carry out sourcing app from SRM713. So it is impossible to use it in normal sourcing cockpit.
This is documented in the following FAQ note:
2075770 - General Information : SRM Carry Out Sourcing Application
•Forward to a different Purchasing Group and Reject a shoping Cart Item.
If you thought my reply is helpful, please mark it as helpful or correct and it would be of help for others who are interested in this topic.

Ivy
