Unable to pick Cost Element Group in t.code: keu1 from the set created.

Hai,

I have a issue when creating assessment cycle in t.code: KEU1. When defining a segment and inputting values under Sender/Receiver tab, I am unable to pic my Cost Element Group from the list for sender. I already have a cost element group and I even tried creating a new set in t.code:GS01. Inspite of that, I am unable to pick it from the list of values. When I give it on my own it throws a error in t.code: KEU5 that no adjustment account found for cost element xxxxxx45. Please guide as to why I am unable to pick the value. Here I am using sender rule as posted amount and receiver rule as fixed percentage.

It throws an error in t.code: keu5 that there is no adjustment account,we can correct it by giving transaction KSPA in t.code: ok17. but what s the exact use of doing so????

I tested the same scenario, it seems you are unable to see the cost element group in KEU1, but after giving the cost element group manually, in the Formal check did you get any error message?

after formal check if you dont have the any errors, then you can proceed with cycle creation and execution, if you have any errors correct it and proceed further.

While defining  cost element group in t.code: KAH1, there is no controlling area

In KAH1, from menu options--> Extras-->Set Controlling Area, check here what is the controlling area defined and also check the assessment cycle controlling area like the above.

Hi Kannan,

First check the cost element group in KAH3, whether it exist or not. If not, then create it in KAH1, then it will available in KSU5.

Hi Kannan,

As Mukthar Said, in any allocation cycles (Distribution and assessment), you need to create the cost element trough through KAH1, You can use GS01 groups in validations and substitution.

Create the same GS01 group through KAH1, so that it will come in KSU1 cycle drop down as sender.

Hi,

Please check weather you created the cost element group in same controlling area?

Helo Kannan,

Can't you pick the cost element group from "group" column in the right (nor from-to columns)?

Hai Tamir,

Thanks for your response, I actually have cost elements that is not in sequential in sense it goes like 1, 42, 54,33, etc. Here I can only add these elements by way of adding it under a cost element group. I have tried creating  a set, but that set is not available in the list of values displayed in the field of cost element group when you give f4.
