New project implementation for customer already using SAP cloud module

Hi Pros,

We have an existing customer who is already using SAP cloud for services module and now they want to implement cloud for sales module as well. I have few queries regarding this:-

1) For implementing SAP Sales module then again a new tenant(URL) will be provided or it will be configured in existing system?

2)) If it will have to be configured in existing tenant, after configuration + implementation of Sales module in existing test system how will the configurations be migrated to production system ?

Regards,

Saurabh

    Hi Saurabh,

    1. You can use the same tenant (URL) for implementing SAP Sales module.

    2. You need to create a Change Project in the Production tenant -> Do the required configuration in the change project -> Move the "Change Project" to test tenant by copying Solution profile (from Service Control center work center) -> You can test the change project in the Test Tenant to which it has been moved. The Change Project would be the leading project in the Test Tenant, hence, any changes (Scoping or Fine-tuning) is deployed into the runtime of the Test Tenant and can be used for Testing -> Merge back the change project to production.

Please check below blogs for change project strategy:
